ℹ️

This is a draft, provided as the platform is under active development. It will be reviewed and finalized as the service matures. It describes the platform's actual rules in plain terms.

Last updated: 2026-08-08

1. What CompliJob is

CompliJob is a niche hiring platform connecting Compliance, AML, KYC, Sanctions and Risk specialists with employers across Lithuania and the EU. We operate a technology platform that facilitates introductions between Employers and Candidates — we are not a party to any employment contract, and we do not guarantee that any candidate will be hired or that any vacancy will be filled.

We may temporarily suspend access to the Platform for maintenance, security updates, or technical reasons.

2. Who operates CompliJob

These Terms of Service are provided by Tymofii Gotsko, an individual entrepreneur (individuali veikla) registered in Lithuania, operating the CompliJob platform.

3. Definitions

  • Candidate: an individual who registers a CompliJob account to search and apply for vacancies.
  • Employer: a company, or an individual acting on a company's behalf, that registers a CompliJob account to post vacancies and search for candidates.
  • Vacancy: a job posting created by an Employer and published on CompliJob after moderation.
  • Introduction: any access, connection, communication, application, profile interaction, or other facilitation between an Employer and Candidate enabled through CompliJob features.
  • Hire: an Employer engaging a Candidate under an employment or service agreement, following an Introduction, whether the agreement is concluded directly through CompliJob or outside the Platform.
  • Platform: the CompliJob website and the services it provides.

4. Accounts

Candidate accounts are open to anyone. Employer accounts require a corporate email address — free/consumer email providers are not accepted for employer registration. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for the accuracy of the information in your profile or job postings.

Employer accounts are automatically grouped by corporate email domain: when you register with a domain that already has an Employer account on CompliJob, you are added to that same company account and gain the same access as its other recruiters — including its posted vacancies, candidate conversations, and company profile — rather than being asked to request an invitation. There is no separate approval step for this. If this is not what you intend, contact support before registering.

By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

We reserve the right to request additional information to verify an Employer's identity, business status, or authority to recruit.

The Employer agrees that CompliJob may use publicly available information about the Employer and its job listings to promote the Platform, including on social media and other public content.

5. Posting a vacancy

Every vacancy goes through moderation before it becomes visible to candidates — there is no way to skip this step, including by payment. We may reject a vacancy that is unclear, misleading, discriminatory, unrelated to compliance/AML/KYC/risk roles, or otherwise violates these terms, and we'll tell you why so you can fix and resubmit it. We may also remove an already-published vacancy that turns out to violate these terms.

Employers are solely responsible for ensuring that their job postings comply with applicable employment, equality, and anti-discrimination laws.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or discriminatory job listings.
  • Use candidate contact details obtained through the platform for purposes unrelated to a genuine hiring process (e.g. unsolicited marketing).
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data from the platform outside of its normal features.
  • Attempt to bypass the moderation process, rate limits, or any other access control.
  • Upload harmful files, or use the platform to distribute malware or spam.

7. Candidate data and employer obligations

Employers may access candidate information only for legitimate recruitment purposes and must handle candidate personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.

Employers must not use candidate data obtained through CompliJob to build external databases, contact candidates for unrelated opportunities, or share candidate information with third parties without appropriate legal basis.

8. Pricing and the success fee

All amounts referenced in this section are in euros (EUR) unless stated otherwise.

Posting vacancies, searching the candidate database, and messaging are free for employers. Employers agree to pay a success fee only once they actually hire a candidate through the platform — invoiced manually, outside the platform, after the hire is recorded. There is no subscription, no pay-per-contact fee, and no payment processed within the platform itself; CompliJob does not integrate a payment gateway anywhere in the product today.

A fee applies where CompliJob has facilitated the connection between the Employer and Candidate, including through applications, candidate search, messaging, or other platform features. This includes where the Employer later contacts or hires the Candidate outside the Platform after an Introduction.

The success fee is governed by the following terms:

  • Fee amount: 25% of the hired candidate's gross monthly salary, payable whether the candidate applied to your vacancy directly or was sourced by you through "Propose a job" from the candidate search. The success fee is calculated based on the gross monthly base salary agreed between the Employer and Candidate at the time of hire. This means the gross monthly base salary excluding bonuses — signing bonuses, relocation allowances, annual or performance bonuses, and stock options or other equity are not included in the calculation. Employers must provide accurate information regarding the salary agreed with the Candidate. The success fee is calculated from the actual gross salary agreed at hire.
  • Notification obligation: Employers must notify CompliJob of any Hire resulting from an Introduction within a reasonable period after the employment agreement has been concluded, including through the "Mark as hired" feature where available. Employers must provide reasonably requested information necessary to verify whether a Hire has occurred following an Introduction. Failure to record a hire does not eliminate the Employer's obligation to pay the success fee.
  • Guarantee period: if the candidate does not start the role, or leaves within the first 30 days of employment, the success fee is waived. If the fee has already been paid, CompliJob will issue a refund. If it has not been paid, the invoice will be cancelled. This guarantee does not apply where employment ends due to reasons unrelated to the Candidate's suitability, including Employer decisions, restructuring, or changes in business needs.
  • Pre-existing contact exception: no fee is owed if the candidate was already in direct contact with your company within the 30 days immediately before being introduced through CompliJob. Contact that took place earlier than that does not exempt the hire from the fee — the exception only covers recent, active contact, not any contact at any point in the past. The burden of proof is on the employer: you must be able to produce evidence of that prior contact (for example, dated correspondence or an email) if asked.
  • Introduction validity window: a CompliJob introduction is valid for 180 days from the last contact between you and the candidate on the platform; a hire made after that window closes is not subject to the fee.
  • Taxes: all fees are exclusive of VAT and other applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. VAT will be applied where legally required.
  • Invoice payment: invoices must be paid within 14 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
  • Late payment: CompliJob reserves the right to charge statutory late-payment interest and recover reasonable collection costs where permitted by applicable law.
  • Suspension for non-payment: we may suspend Employer access where undisputed invoices remain unpaid after the applicable payment period.

9. No Circumvention

Employers agree not to intentionally use the Platform to identify Candidates while avoiding payment of the success fee through off-platform hiring arrangements.

10. No guarantee of outcome

We do our best to keep listings and candidate profiles genuine and moderated, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of information either side provides, the outcome of any application, or that any hire will be successful or lasting. Any employment relationship formed is strictly between the employer and the candidate.

CompliJob does not independently verify every qualification, certification, employment history, or identity claimed by Candidates unless explicitly stated.

11. No employment agency relationship

CompliJob provides a recruitment technology platform and does not act as an employer, employment decision-maker, or representative of either Candidates or Employers. Except where expressly agreed otherwise, CompliJob does not participate in employment decisions.

12. Intellectual property

Except for content uploaded by users, all software, branding, design, databases, and platform functionality are owned by or licensed to CompliJob and may not be copied, modified, or commercially exploited without permission.

By uploading content to CompliJob, you grant CompliJob a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate the Platform and provide its services.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompliJob shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including unsuccessful recruitment outcomes or employment disputes between Employers and Candidates. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15. Force Majeure

CompliJob shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, cyberattacks, governmental actions, or failures of third-party infrastructure.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional written agreement between CompliJob and an Employer where applicable, constitute the entire agreement between you and CompliJob regarding the use of the Platform.

17. Assignment

CompliJob may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of business assets, or similar transaction, without requiring your consent. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

18. Termination

You may stop using the platform and request account deletion at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Dispute resolution

The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, previously available at ec.europa.eu/odr, was discontinued as of 20 July 2025. Consumers within the EU can find current information on alternative dispute resolution bodies via the European Commission's own successor resource, consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.

If you have a complaint about the service itself, as opposed to how we handle your personal data (which is covered by Section 9 of our Privacy Policy), you may also contact Lithuania's State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba) at vvtat.lrv.lt. If you are located elsewhere in the EEA, you may instead contact your local consumer protection authority.

21. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes shall be handled by the competent courts of Lithuania, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
